			<description><![CDATA[ I have a hard time understanding what the author was getting at in this editorial.  It seems he thinks that the NRA is a club for criminals and extremists who
are finally becoming more mainstream.  The fact that the editorialist holds this viewpoint speaks quite lowly of the NYT.  He seems to be very ill-informed.  I
am wondering what everyone else thinks of this.  It&#39;s hard to really understand the point he was trying to get at.
